Excellent game. As you probably know, it's basically a top-down version of Terraria or Minecraft, but in my opinion vastly superior to both. Minecraft has hideous visuals, while Core Keeper is beautiful to look at. Terraria has the infuriating issue of being CONSTANTLY bombarded by enemy attacks, always preventing you from doing what you are trying to do. Core Keeper, conversely, is much more respectful of the player, typically allowing you to engage enemies on your own terms. It's also easier to prevent enemies spawning where you don't want them to be. So you have the freedom to build a house, craft items, farm animals and plants, and cook food without being constantly bothered (unless you set up your base in a spot with a lot of enemy spawn tiles, but you can remove those to "cleanse" it anyway as mentioned above).
Poisonous Sickle and a shield that both apply poison on hit. Also, a 2-piece armour plus ring that synergises for higher damage output. These make farming Azeos far easier.

There are also 24 new armor pieces and 20+ decorative objects to enhance your base. The addition of new plants, food types, and fishes expands resource gathering and crafting options.
They have to farm their gear from mobs, they have to play with the worst AI of any minion I've seen in my life, they only have 3 weapons in the game, where only 1 of them is actually usable because it doesnt have any AI. And they also have some weird synergy with Magic, but this synergy only works if you have magic at around lvl 75, which idk how would you even get to that level in a normal playthrough tbh, especially if you want to play with mostly Summon dmg.
This time I'm running because I found a carrot for the first time and I can't wait to see what new meals I can cook with it. In Core Keeper I may be trapped in the dark with unspeakable horrors, but I'm also comfortable enough to get excited about making a stew.
Cutscene Crashes: We’ve had some reports of the game crashing right after the intro cutscene, preventing Explorers from starting new adventures.
10+ hours in so far and 2 bosses defeated, and I haven't been pestered by the stupid bloodmoons, goblin Core Keeper Gameplay hordes or any trash like that that happens in many other survival crafting games. I've had enemies appear around my base 2-3 times causing minor damage, and that's plenty; enough to give you a reason to think about traps and securing your base, but not so much as to detract from your main goals. So this is a welcome difference that makes me want to keep playing. If you've never played either of the abovementioned games, but think you like the idea of survival crafting and building game, it's excellent for the asking price (especially as it's 50% off on a couple stores), so give it a go. Beautiful graphics; a fun and engaging gameplay loop of exploring, collecting resources and building; easy to jump into and back out of on your own time, and great fun either solo or with a friend(s).

Wood Pickaxe helps mine the soft dirt biome walls more quickly. All walls can be slowly broken by punching continuously (except obsidian).
Next, we want to focus on getting Copper Ore so we can make Copper armor, weapons, and tools. Getting your hands on a ranged weapon is a must, too; some of the early-game enemies can hit pretty hard!
